What can I expect during a therapy session?
It is understandable that starting therapy can be a daunting process. During a therapy session with Vanessa, you can expect a safe and confidential environment where you can openly discuss your thoughts and feelings. Vanessa will work collaboratively with you to identify challenges, explore patterns in behaviour, and discuss helpful strategies for building a life in which you feel more content.
Do I need a Mental Health Treatment Plan?
It is not essential to have a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) to make an appointment with Vanessa, however, obtaining a MHTP will entitle you to claim the Medicare rebate for ten sessions in the calendar year. Your GP will be able to help you with this.
